First of all, before anybody says something about the title I will explain it to you. This title represents the second semester that I am going to be in Sydney. This is why is the second part of the story. However, I am new to the blogger life, so last semester there was no part 1.
It has been a while since I last updated my blog, but you all know that I have been a bit busy lately. Today ends the first week of classes here in the southern hemisphere (at least in UTS). Classes are tougher than the ones I took last semester but I hope I do well.
The day I arrived in Sydney two big cruises were arriving too. One was "Queen Elizabeth II" and the other was "Queen Mary 2". There was a big celebration in the Harbour, next to the Sydney Opera House. Fireworks lasted for about 10 minutes! It was like if we were in New Year's Eve. Here are some pictures about this.
As you know, I moved from Geegal to Gumal (UTS Residences). Now that my room and flat is neat and tidy I could take some pictures and post them in my blog. In this flat we live four people. It is a big combination. One guy is from Austalia, one girl from USA and the other girl from Malaysia, and obviously me from Mexico. The pictures of the flat look clean, but when I arrived to this flat it was really filthy. It looked like if a party was held in this place and then everybody left on the next morning without cleaning up the mess.
This semester looks pretty good, at least that is how it has started. There have been many parties and a lot of new people. I have met people from Mexico, Spain, Hong Kong, Norway, USA, France, Germany, Italy, South America, Asia, and of course... Australia. And about parties, well, below there is a picture of the Back2School Party in which Gumal was the host.
